Nagoya Day Planner

Nagoya rewards structure more than most Japanese cities — the neighborhoods are spread out enough that wandering between them wastes time, but close enough that a well-ordered route fits 4–6 stops into a comfortable day.

This planner pulls every mapped stop from our guides and lets you drag them into your own order. When you are done, one tap opens the route in Google Maps with walking or transit directions. Your plan saves automatically so you can come back to it.

How this tool works

  • Stops are pulled from the route maps embedded in our published guides — each one has been walked and verified.
  • Drag stops into the order you want to visit them. The planner estimates total walking distance.
  • Export opens Google Maps Directions with your stops as waypoints — it handles transit and walking routing from there.
  • Your plan saves to your browser automatically. No account needed.

Frequently asked questions

How many stops can I add to a day plan?

The planner supports up to 12 stops per day. For a comfortable pace with time to eat and explore, 4–6 stops is realistic for a walking day in Nagoya.

Does the planner work offline?

Your saved plan is stored in your browser and loads without an internet connection. The Google Maps export requires connectivity, but you can screenshot the route before going underground.

Can I plan multiple days?

Currently the planner handles one day at a time. For multi-day trips, save each day separately — your plans persist in your browser between visits.

Where do the stops come from?

Every stop in the planner is extracted from the route maps in our published guides. As we add new guides, new stops appear automatically.
